Rub It In

Why do you have to rub it in?
Don’t you know that I hate it?

I can never be myself,
For the fear of being ridiculed.
All you like to do is make fun.
Shove people around, you pretend to be nice.

I can never be myself at home, or in school or out in public too.

The Girl

The girl sits there in the black chair,
Staring emotionless into this air,
She sighs and then turns around.

Her eyes are devoid of any emotion,
but her face tells it all,
the pain, the misery, its all there.
You have to look.

She frowns down at the ground before meeting your eyes.
And you stare back at her in suprise.

She's so strong, so strong but the cracks are appearing ever so slowly.

She gives you a tight smile and turns away as you roll your eyes.
