I see your smile when you look at me,
I see the way you cross your arms and turn to stare at me,
I like the way your hair flops into your eyes in that sort of kinda neat way.
I try not to care but I just can’t take my eyes off you.
Because you just look so damn fine.
I wish you were mine.

I wish I could be there with you,
But I know it’ll never be true.
Across the ocean in a land far far away.
You’ll be chillin’ and saying ‘hey!’

That girl walks past and grins at you,
You smile back and peck her on the lips.
She’s your girlfriend.
Being half Filipino and Chinese,
She isn’t like anything you’ve seen.

She’s my rival,
But I’ll know I will always be beat.
Because she’s not shy,
She’s right there,
And she has long lovely hair.
She is just everything that I’m not.

Five years past and what a roar,
It makes all the different because I don’t care.
Your still there, standing on a beach,
With her right by your side.
I stare at you and roll my eyes.

You’re not interesting and I definitely lied.
You turned ugly, she turned mean.
I grow up and got very clean.
I don’t care that your not there.

I never wanted you anyway,
I was probably deluding myself.
Right from the beginning,
Your so different, as you gre out your hair.

I never understood what I saw in you when I first met you.
Was it your hair, those sparkling blue eyes, or that sexy smile?
Whatever it was, I had no idea what the future would hold.
Because I was deluding myself right from the beginning.
I thought I loved you, when I most obviously hated you.

But whatever, I don’t care.
Because you can just go stand over there.
